Since its beginning in Howard County in 1991, the Foundation has been fortunate to work with many generous donors, caring volunteers, and not-for-profit organizations who are committed to making our communities a better place to live.
In November, 1996, a group of Clinton County leaders established the Clinton County Community Foundation as an affiliate fund and in August, 1997, leaders from Carroll County established the Carroll County Community Foundation as an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation of Howard County.
Each of our county Community Foundations has its own local committees and board of directors. To operate efficiently and economically, all three county Foundations share administrative staff, office space, equipment and supplies.
